About the Role:
The school are looking for a passionate Computer Science teacher to teach Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Computer Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, helping to equip students with the skills needed for the digital world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Computer Science across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level
* Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in coding, app development, and algorithms
* Contribute to the continued development of the Computer Science curriculum
* Support students in their use of technology and foster a deeper interest in the subject
* Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as coding clubs and tech challenges
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Computer Science (desirable but not essential)
* A passion for technology education and fostering interest in the digital world
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* A collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
