Job Role – Installation Fitter – Racking and Storage Systems
Due to continued growth we have the opportunity for a Racking Installer to join our successful business. We are an automation Management and Mechanical installation company, who offer services within the warehouse construction and automated intralogistics industries.
We have experienced extremely high levels of growth over the last three years and have further huge future growth levels forecast.
We are a small and closely knit team and would expect the successful candidate to become an integral member of the team.
This role would be suited to someone already in the Storage and assembly industry with at least 1 years experience of Steel racking and storage structures and systems.
This role has the possibility for eventual career progression to Installation Supervisor as the company grows.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Assemble, install, and repair warehouse racking systems, shelving, and storage solutions according to client specifications and safety standards.
* Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
* Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
* Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in racking installation, construction, or a similar field (preferred, but training can be provided).
* Proficiency with hand tools and basic mechanical skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* A commitment to health and safety practices.
* A valid driver’s license (preferred but not essential dependent on location).
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Job Hours – Full Time
· 5 days per week – 40 hour week Monday to Friday
· Typical hours 0800 – 17:00 Flexible working hours
· Overtime hours and weekend working opportunities
· Site based role – UK Wide

Qualifications
· SIERS Diploma (preferred but not essential)
· CSCS
· Manual Handling (preferred but not essential)
· IPAF 3a (preferred but not essential)
· Counterbalance Forklift Truck (preferred but not essential)
· Reach Truck (preferred but not essential)
Experience
· Minimum 1 Year working in the industry
