Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client as an SEN Teaching Assistant at a reputable high school in Blackburn.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
2. Support students in accessing the curriculum, adapting materials and resources as necessary.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
4. Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure effective communication and tailored support.
5. Promote independence and social inclusion among students with SEN.
6. Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
7. Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a high school setting.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
10. Understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
