You will ensure smooth onboarding for new team members, maintain up-to-date team member records, and ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Additionally, you'll support recruitment and employee relations casework, assist with sickness and absence management, and contribute to HR initiatives as required. Competencies for the People Support Role: Ability to follow and embed processes in a growing organisation Tenacity to chase urgent documentation Excellent communication skills with colleagues and applicants Planning, Time / Focus management & Prioritisation skills Goal orientated to achieve SMART objectives Flexible and adaptable Persistent and patient Self-motivated Organisation and Administration skills Positive (i.e. not brought down by candidate withdrawals etc) Day to Day Responsibilities for the People Support Role: Onboarding Ensure all Onboarding processes are followed in line with the job description Ensure all Team Member files are constantly updated and are 100% compliant before agreeing a start date with the applicant Ensure Onboarding dashboard and New Team Member Audit reports are up to date and live at all times Co-ordinating Information for External Payroll Bureau Ensure all new team members are added to our Time and Attendance Rota system (Playday) Prepare and submit payroll instructions (e.g. monthly hours, extra payments, maternity/paternity leave, salary sacrifice, jury service) with a focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines Authorising rotas to ensure resourcing is appropriate People Support/ Team Member Relations Support recruitment and engagement activity as required, including holidays Assist with employee relations casework, including notetaking, preparing correspondence, and arranging meetings Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of all documentation relating to Team Members holidays, sickness, and absence Supporting HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities, training programs, and policy reviews Ensure all Information and reports in relation to our International team members are up to date at all times Essential Requirements for the People Support Role: 2 year's experience in an HR administration or similar role 1 year's experience of onboarding including Right to work (RTW) compliance checks 1 years' experience in working in a high volume, fast paced, pressured environment Good computer literacy, including use of outlook and word and some excel skills Good written and oral communication skills, including letter writing, email and telephone skills Preferred Requirements for the Onboarding Support Role: A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards) is advantageous but not essential A little about Jasmine: By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care to as many elderly residents as possible.
