The purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across multiple sites. In this role you will act as a strategic leader for safety implementation and development, working closely with site management and relevant teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Role Responsibilities: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, procedures, and performance standards on-site over multiple sites. Lead incident investigations and offer support to management and colleagues when needed. Take the lead in developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures to align with legal obligations and industry best practices. Conduct thorough inspections and audits, diligently monitoring recommendations and driving the implementation of improvements. Play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.What We Are Looking For? Demonstrated experience of working within a Health and Safety Management role within waste, recycling, or mass production/manufacturing industries is highly advantageous NEBOSH, or similar level 3 and above certifications, or Degree/Diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety Strong communication and personal skills Autonomous and can work alone without support The ability to lead and influence others.
