About the Role:
As the Head of Pursuits, you will lead the strategic development of our approach to pursuing, winning and onboarding new business from both existing and new clients. Your primary goal will be to increase our win rate and revenue. You will lead a high-performing pursuits team, bringing best-in-market approaches and skills into the team, the Business Development (BD) team, and the wider business.
As the Head of Pursuits, you will be responsible for the following:
* Increasing win chances of the firms tenders.
* Strategic bid/no-bid qualification and resource alignment.
* Instilling bidding best practice, using technology for efficiencies.
* Upskilling the lawyers, pursuits team and BD team.
* Continuously improve the infrastructure supporting tenders and mobilisation of wins.
* Being an integral part of the marketing senior leadership team, enabling the team to deliver clear value to the business.
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills to the table:
* Proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
* Highly numerate and analytical with excellent leadership, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
* Strong understanding of pursuits and BD strategy with a well-developed network within the pursuits/sales community across professional services firms.
