Vranken-Pommery Monopole:
Second largest Champagne producer and leading European wine grower, the family-owned group Vranken-Pommery Monopole seeks a Regional Sales Manager (Northern England and Scotland) for its UK subsidiary based in London.
The Group portfolio includes Champagne Brands (Pommery & Greno, Heidsieck Monopole, Charles Lafitte, Vranken, Diamant and Demoiselle), English sparkling wines (Louis Pommery England), still wines from Provence (Chateau La Gordonne) and Camargue (Domaine Royal de Jarras) as well as Ports and still wines from the Douro Valley (Rozès and Terras do Grifo).
Purpose of role:
To achieve agreed personal sales targets and brand goals, largely through new business development, in order that the company meets its overall performance goals.
Job role:
* Grow sales, mix & distribution by devising & implementing clear action plans and effective management, with an emphasis on prospection and developing the number of accounts in the area (in the On-Trade and Regional / Independent wine merchants)
* Consistently create and realise new customer opportunities through planned prospecting and networking in line with On Trade and Regional Off-Trade customer and portfolio priorities
* Ensure consistently high customer service after sales standards, particularly when taking on new business
* Work within consistent and defensible commercial guidelines for new business and business development
* Be a brand ambassador for Pommery and all Vranken brands throughout the trade as well as at key events in the season

What are we looking for?
* Proven track record of success in selling luxury products within the hospitality sector in the North of England and Scotland, with a focus on beverages preferred
* Extensive network and established relationships within premium hotels, restaurants, RTM and wine merchants within the region
* High-level qualifications in Beverages, such as WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) or Sommelier certification, strongly desired
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional results
* Strong business acumen and ability to work autonomously and remotely from the main office.
