As a Contract Support Officer, you will support the Contract Manager to implement procedures focused on the contract auditing process. You'll deliver effective contract management through timely record management and compliance monitoring. You will also provide administrative support and produce reports to be used in review meetings and audits. As part of the newly formed Contract Management team, you will proactively manage procurement spending. Key objectives for this team are to: Work in a dynamic manner to identify and support delivery of improvements and savings. Support development and implementation of an LCC-wide Contract Management Strategy and provide training to support other services. Support the implementation of technology to improve contract reporting. Support strategic contract management activity across LCC at key stages in the contracting lifecycle. What we're looking for: You'll have demonstrable administrative and organisation skills with the ability to use IT systems and electronic databases. You'll have great interpersonal skills with experience taking a customer focussed approach. You have at least 3 GCSEs (Grade C and above) or equivalent, including English and Maths, or an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. An understanding of contract management would be beneficial but is not required.
