Position Summary Here at Nestlé Food, we are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join us, as a Senior Brand Manager for Carnation, reporting into the Head of Food Marketing. This is an amazing opportunity where you will play an important role in leading our annual brand plans and ensuring flawless execution of these plans to deliver value add marketing mix activity. You will be a part of a team based in our Crawley office where you will share the value of open communication to generate impact and return towards our common goals. A day in the life of a Senior Brand Manager As a Senior Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in being responsible for leading the short- and mediumterm strategic development and implementation of the Carnation portfolio. There will be responsibility for both defining brand strategy and executing innovation & comms to drive brand growth. You will be creating positive brand experiences locally to drive overall market share growth for Carnation across consumer channels. Working across all elements of the marketing mix, owning exciting projects you will also: - Responsible for setting the integrated communications plan for the brand, working with a number of stakeholders including key media and communications agencies as well as shopper & digital/social teams - Identify and deliver great innovations and renovations for the brand, working as part of a crossfunctional team - Be responsible for the delivery of engaging brand experiences, whether it is through traditional ATL, digital, experiential or BTL activations. - Monitor monthly brand performances and work with our sales, category, finance, and supply chain teams as well as external agencies to address and close identified gaps. - Use business intelligence to capture key-facts/trends to help make right business choices and report internally/to the Zone. - Take responsibility for the monthly tracking of brand budgets and maintenance with the support of the Finance team - Help drive improvements across everything we do by taking learnings from all our marketing activities ensuring improvements are recommended and implemented into our planning cycle. - Developing a comprehensive understanding of the UK Baking/Desserts segments and consumer needs, monitoring industry and competitor activity. - Playing a leading role in the marketing team, coaching and developing more junior team members. What will make you successful To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt, within a Senior Brand Manager role. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brand, you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Proactivity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role as is proven leadership capability and creative thinking. You'll also: - Strong leadership skills to drive ownership of the brand across the business with the the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally - Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders - Be capable of P&L management and financial analysis to improve portfolio profitability - Demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels - Be able to run sizeable projects and work streams from concept to delivery Experience in coordinating and participating in cross functional team What you need to know What can we offer in return?
