SENDCO Location: Selly Oak Salary: £105-£120 Hours: Full time to start ASAP Monarch Education are working for a primary school in Selly Oak, who are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO) to join their welcoming team. This role is on a full-time basis and is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is keen to contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment. Requirements: A qualified SENDCO with experience in a primary setting. Someone who is confident and knowledgeable about Birmingham's SEND polices and procedures. A passionate and proactive educator who is committed to inclusion and student success. A DBS on the up-to-date service or be willing to obtain one. About the role: Lead the strategic development and implementation of SEND provision across the school. Oversee and manage the provision for students with SEND, including the writing and reviewing of EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) and SSPPs (School Support Plans). Work closely with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure effective support and interventions are in place for students with SEND.
