Role outline
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team! You will be required to work closely with another team member and coordinate priorities and workloads. Having excellent communication and organisation skills are a must, as well as time keeping to meet business deadlines.
The applicant should ideally be locally based and have relevant design experience, although industry-specific knowledge is not essential.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, well-organised, polite and friendly Graphic Designer who can demonstrate success by meeting deadlines and can work individually and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Create new product packaging designs, update existing designs, and handle packaging files in general.
* Fulfil packaging requirements as per production briefs for UK and International markets.
* Photoshop: image editing and product colour matching.
* Create marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, POS, digital creatives and press packs.
* Collaborate with marketing on new initiatives, projects and brand developments.
* Prepare images for web content for internal and external uses.
* Confidently liaise and meet with print companies.
* Update and maintain live sales product catalogues/brochures for End of Season Sale, Readymade products and Piece Good collections.
* Organise and maintain all creative files in a structured filing method.
* Check all artwork from international mills to ensure they adhere to corporate brand guidelines.
* Create and print ‘labelled imagery’.
* Generate mock-ups and drafts for sign-offs.
Required skills and qualifications
* Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft packages.
* Able to professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Able to work individually and as part of a team.
* Able to manage multiple projects at any given time and understand how to prioritise workload.
* Respond well to time-critical tasks.
* Work well under pressure.
* Able to share ideas and suggestions from a graphic design perspective.
* Able to take constructive criticism and turn it into a positive.
* Able to work proactively to ensure all tasks are achieved in a timely manner.
* You have a strong work ethic and work well with little supervision.
* You have passion and enthusiasm for great design and creative flair.
* You are dynamic and self-motivated.
* You are well-organised and able to keep a structured record of projects.
* Able to work well in a fast-paced, busy environment.
* Must have 2 years graphic design experience.
Schedule:
* Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
