About the team… As our revenues continue to grow we need talented people to join us to account for these in line with accounting standards and ensure we can forecast efficiently and accurately across our service lines - preparing, reviewing and sharing our KPIs throughout the month while continuing to look at ways to integrate our new businesses into our BAU. About the day to day… This role will be fundamental to ensuring compliance with accounting standards, maintaining revenue records and collaborating with various departments to support financial reporting. You will play a key part in our finance team as our revenues inevitable grow and become more diverse. You’ll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including: Applying revenue recognition principles and accounting standards to ensure accurate reporting of revenue transactions for both organic and acquired revenue Reconciling revenue accounts and resolve discrepancies Preparing revenue for the management accounts including working papers and recording revenue transactions Generating regular and ad-hoc revenue reporting Ensuring revenue reports are accurate, timely and aligned to stakeholder reporting requirements Maintaining and enforcing internal controls related to revenue recognition and reporting Collaborating with wider finance team and business, proactively dealing with revenue related queries and providing support, as well communicating revenue trends, issues and recommendations Proactively identifying opportunities for improving revenue accounting processes and systems The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey.
