Post Brexit, there were a number of changes to the way Amazon and its inventory operated across the new UK-EU customs border. To enable seamless movement of inventory for sellers across this new customs border (hence preserving selection for customers), the Amazon Customs Clearance and Shipping Services was created in 2021. Initially started as a pilot, in a short time it has already scaled to 4K+ sellers, on track move over 75 million units of inventory across borders by 2025.
We are looking for a candidate with strong product experience to own the product development charter to scale this offering, in collaboration with a dedicated team of 10+ engineers. We are building towards improving seller experience, speed of delivery, reducing costs while maintaining a high bar on accuracy and compliance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple deliverables, passionate about data and Seller Experience, and has excellent business acumen and business communication skills. They are excited about the positive impact our services can offer to Sellers and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and collaborative environment.
Key job responsibilities
1. Own the roadmap for improving the experience of using the product in seller central.
2. Actively seek ways to improve product related process efficiencies and effectiveness.
3. Actively drive data analysis and metrics to suggest improvement opportunities.
4. Communicate updates on programs and metrics to senior leaders and stakeholders.
5. Proactively identify gaps or blockers, propose solutions, and drive implementation across partner teams.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
3. Experience with end to end product delivery.
4. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
5. Experience as a product manager or owner.
6. Experience owning technology products.
7. Experience with product cycles of 6+ months.
8. Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology.
9. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
10. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
