Due to our expanding service, we have an exciting opportunity to join BCP’s Lifeline Team in the role of Telecare Service Officer.
The Lifeline Team provides a wide range of services and technology designed around ensuring clients can remain safely, independently living in their own homes. The technology we provide allows for clients to raise alerts quickly and easily to our Operations Centre or their local support network 24/7.
Main Responsibilities
The Telecare Services Officer’s primary role is to install, change and rectify any fault with the technology. Demonstrating the equipment and service to potential new clients and supporting our current clients using our equipment and accessing services. Officers also provide a mobile response service to some of our telecare clients, involving staff going out to client’s homes to assist when there is an emergency. This service includes ‘assisted lifting’ for non-injured fallers using specialised equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should be able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills and a focus on customer care. You will need to have a flexible approach to working patterns and will be required to work a variety of shifts covering the service.
The work is challenging with lots of variety; no day is the same. If you like to get to the end of your working day knowing you have made a difference to some of the most vulnerable residents in our community, then this could be the job you are looking for, and we would love to hear from you.
