We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Speech and Language Therapist to join our client’s community adult SLT service, which focuses on acquired neurological patients. With 70% of their work involving outpatients and home visits, this role offers a unique opportunity to provide personalised care in diverse settings. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide essential support to adults with communication, eating, and swallowing difficulties. Your responsibilities will include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing and implementing personalised treatment plans, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will also educate patients and their families on strategies to manage and improve their conditions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of service protocols and standards. Qualifications and Experience: • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC and RCSLT approved) • Experience with neurological patients preferred • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately • Excellent organisational and communication skills • Flexibility for outpatients and home visits • Detail-oriented and methodical • Team player with independent working ability Why work with Pulse?
