Software Product Support Engineer – Onsite in Bristol – 6 Month Contract – Inside IR35 – Up-to £68 Per Hour Umbrella – SC Cleared
Responsibilities:
* Delivering technical support to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business on specific defence Command and Control System applications
* Debugging and troubleshooting as part of investigations into customer issues
* Managing and configuring Linux installations
Requirements:
* Experience working with C or C++, Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages with a solid background in software engineering
* Experience configuring and maintaining Linux OSs (Redhat and/or Ubuntu) including Kernel configuration and Kernel test
* The ability to innovate and think critically to troubleshoot, understand, and develop solutions to complex issues
* Clear communication skill for the delivery of technical insights to non-technical stakeholders by cutting through jargon
