HGV Class 2 Drivers
Role Summary
H&G Recruitment are proud to be representing their client, an established retailer distribution company in their search for HGV2 Drivers to work in their leading facility in Barnsley. Please note Saturdays are required when routed to work.
Pay rates
PAYE: £15.00 per hour
Umbrella: £18.52 per hour
Shift start times available:
0400 and 0500 starts
Available rotas (not limited to):
Monday to Saturday - rota of 5 days out of 6
Benefits:
1. A minimum pay of 8 hours guaranteed daily
2. Regular work and job security

Requirements:
1. HGV2 license with a minimum of 1-year driving experience required
2. Full HGV licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
3. Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
4. A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
5. Driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all current legislation and company guidelines
6. Ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe & legal condition
7. Reporting any accidents & incidents to management
8. Ability to work to a fixed working pattern
9. Loading & discharging in a sensible manner and in accordance with company policy & procedures
10. Delivering to other stores and distribution sites, involving loading and unloading cages on and off the vehicle
