We are looking for Customer Service Assistants Heart of England Cooperative Society are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our growing team in our Wellesbourne convenience store on a 4 month fixed-term contract. We have various hours available ranging from 8 to 39 hours per week. A full UK Driving licence with no disqualifications is essential for this role in Wellesbourne, as you may be required to deliver online orders as part of our Online Snappy Grocery Delivery Service. The successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age due to minimum age restrictions around delivering alcohol. Our Online Snappy Grocery Delivery Service operates from 7am-9pm Monday to Saturday, and between 10am-4pm on Sundays so flexibility is required. When you are not out on the road, you will be working in the store assisting the team with Customer Service Assistant duties. About You As a Customer Service Assistant with the Society, you will be positive and flexible, with a 'can do' attitude. A good communicator who is eager to deliver excellent customer service, you will work alongside your team to create a great atmosphere for our customers, making us the 'go to' store within our local communities. Your passion for convenience retail and our products will be contagious, as will your ability to always go the extra mile. Online Delivery Service * Delivering goods to our customers in the community in a timely manner, ensuring the safe delivery of groceries * Picking and packing products for the deliveries * Loading and unloading the van safely and efficiently * Represent the Heart of England Co-operative Society brand in a professional and courteous manner * Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries and update order status * Navigate using provided routing systems and adapt to changing road conditions * Ensure the van is kept clean, tidy and organised * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues * Follow all road safety regulations and company driving policies Life at The Society Great Place to Work At Heart of England Cooperative Society, we are a family, who want the best for each and every one of our colleagues.
