* Near-Time Reports: Providing near-time reports to stakeholders across the business.
* Presenting rationale for changes in trading activity and offering suggestions for counter-activities to be implemented tactically and strategically.
* Annual Forecasting Processes: Running the annual forecasting processes to ensure clarity on targets for channels (value and volume) and collaborating with the Director and Finance to align targets with good financial and commercial outcomes.
* Business Cases and Strategic Rationale: Providing data to support business cases and offering strategic rationale to support the growth of key areas such as SMR, Breakdown, and membership schemes.
* Collaboration with Research and Analytics Teams: Working closely with Research and Analytics teams across the AA landscape to maximise outputs without duplication.
* Detailed Reports and Deep Dives: Producing detailed ongoing reports and conducting ad hoc deep dives into commercial areas.
* Customer Flow Analysis: Building processes and insights to understand customer flows between direct and indirect markets, as well as across competitors.
What do I need?
* Proven Leadership Abilities: Understand challenges, find solutions, and guide others toward successful outcomes.
* Analytical Skills and Commercial Acumen: Generate insights and inspire action based on analytical work.
* Line Management and Development: Mentor and develop junior analysts early in their careers.
* Accurate Reporting and Product Contribution: Deliver insightful reporting that significantly impacts product performance.
* Creating Understandable MI Suites: Build user-friendly management information (MI) suites for actionable recommendations.
* Numeracy and Analytical Tools Proficiency: Skilled in data manipulation using tools like Excel, SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Databricks.
* Business Strategy Alignment: Consider both commercial and customer objectives, contributing to overall business strategy.
* Translating Business Requirements: Review, interpret, and simplify business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
* Preferable: Degree-level qualification or equivalent or experienced candidates who thrive in challenging roles within trading, analytical, or commercial teams.
