Details of the role:
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Permanent, full-time role
Location: London (2 set days p/w in the office)

What you'll be doing:
As part of a dynamic team Royalties team, you will play a crucial role in supporting new authors and illustrators by accurately inputting and maintaining contractual information into a royalty system, handling internal and external queries, and ensuring the smooth integration of a new Biblio system.
The Senior Royalties Analyst will work closely with the Royalties Assistants and collaborate with the wider Royalties Accounting, Contracts, Editorial, and Finance teams. With their ongoing project to implement a new Biblio royalty solution, this is your chance to be part of a significant transformation and drive process improvements that will ensure the project's success!
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare Yearly and Half-Yearly Royalty Statements
* Review and verify Royalty Assistants' work, contracts setup, and payment details
* Resolve escalated internal and external queries professionally and accurately
* Manage complex exceptions from Exception Reports
* Prepare, input, and review sales adjustments in the royalty system
* Review and audit key author royalty statement data
* Assist with interim and year-end audit work, interpret data, and identify solutions
* Facilitate the migration of acquisitions into the Biblio royalty system
What We're Looking For:
* In-depth knowledge of royalty contracts
* Professional communication skills with agents/authors via email and phone
* Experience in publishing royalties and sub-rights
* Excellent time management and the proven ability to meet deadlines
* Knowledge of KEA and Biblio systems (a plus, but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
* And ideally some familiarity with US Tax Forms and Withholding Tax Rules
