As a Senior Care Assistant at Langdon House Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering high quality care.

Langdon House is an exceptional residential care home in Cambridge, known for its family-feel, attractive gardens, and outstanding care for residents.
We’re based in a quiet nook in Chesterton, three miles from the city centre, offering fantastic 24-hour care to up to 51 residents.
About the role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a key part in care delivery. Our Team Leader supports us to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

Salary:
£13.63 per hour.
Shift Pattern:
44 hours per week, 12-hour shifts on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location:
20 Union Lane, Chesterton, Cambridge, CB4 1QB – 3 miles from the city centre.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty.
* Assist, motivate and inspire our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.
* Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of our care team.
* Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations and monitoring urine output.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
* A passion for care and commitment to putting the needs of our residents first.
* Experience in a similar senior care position.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
* Proven track record of leading and motivating a team.
