Key aspects of the role include:
* Lead the company’s commercial activities across the UK and Northern Ireland.
* Develop a structured framework to streamline and unify the sales process.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and market share to meet business goals and product objectives.
* Lead, motivate, and manage the sales and key accounts team, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, key accounts, pharmacy chains, and healthcare professionals to maximize opportunities.
* Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring expenses are within budget while achieving financial targets.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of sales activities with brand and marketing initiatives.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or equivalent. An MBA is a plus.
* Proven experience in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience within the Pharmaceutical/Skincare/FMCG industries. Multinational companies' experience preferred.
* Experience in managing a large sales team.
* A dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the UK skincare market.
* In-depth knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape, working closely with pharmacies and NHS.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
