ABOUT OUR TRAINEESHIPS Are you a 16–18-year-old who is passionate about trainers and gaining valuable work experience in a sports fashion retailer with a wealth of opportunities and progression? By joining us on your government funded study programme, you will gain firsthand experience of a FTSE 100 business alongside valuable soft skills delivered to you by Juniper Training Your placement with us will be unpaid, and after successful completion of the programme, you will be guaranteed an interview to be considered for any vacant paid employment opportunities. You will be placed in a store that is agreed prior to your start date, and you are able to commute to. This is the government funded Study Programme, this programme is designed by the government to support young people into employment and provide them with valuable skills. All study programmes must include work experience, and activities that complement the rest of the programme. Our provider, Juniper Training will give you the opportunity to complete your maths and English functional skills, if you haven’t already achieved these at GCSE. ELIGIBILITY This programme is government funded by the DfE (Department for Education), meaning there is eligibility criteria. This programme is designed to support 16–18-year-olds (or up to 24 year old with an EHCP) with valuable work experience, offering them the opportunity to gain skills, behaviours and experience to make the next step.
