Accounting Manager – EMEIA

The Role:
We are currently looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our EMEIA Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing financials, driving process improvements, and ensuring financial compliance for all EMEIA entities of The Kurt J Lesker Company. You will lead a team of dynamic and experienced financial professionals, so you must be passionate about both people and process. This role would suit a strategic financial leader, looking to join a fast-paced international business.
Role expectations:
1. Lead the EMEIA Accounting team
2. Manage and oversee the daily/monthly/yearly operations of the department
3. Develop and streamline ERP system and processes
4. Drive a timely and accurate month-end close
5. Develop and implement training programs for the accounting team
6. Design, document, and enforce policies in accordance with local accounting standards as well as US GAAP for consolidation purposes
7. Review all account reconciliations monthly
8. Lead internal and external audits for the Ltd and GmbH entities
9. Manage EMEIA annual budgeting process

10. Proven experience working in a similar role
11. Prior experience managing a successful accounting team
12. High attention to detail and accuracy
13. Strong ERP system knowledge and experience (Microsoft D365 advantageous)
