My client a well established engineering company based in Chorley is currently seeking a skilled Business Administrator to join their team in managing the administrative tasks of the office. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. This position is a temporary role for around 4 months starting Monday 9th September.
Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for all telephone enquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service, directing calls and taking detailed messages as required.
* Meet and greet visitors in the building
* Manage and maintain internal purchase request tracker and delivery tracker.
* Raise supplier purchase orders and chase all outstanding deliveries.
* Manage all goods in and out of the business.
* Prepare job information sheets for upcoming service jobs.
* Procurement of office supplies.
* Any other reasonable requests made by the director or line management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative role
* Excellent phone etiquette skills
* Strong data entry abilities
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Proficiency in general office tasks
* Ability to type accurately and efficiently
* Competency in using Google Suite applications
