Shirley Parsons is working exclusively with a leading Private Transportation Organisation who are looking to appoint a QHSE Manager. The role will have primary responsibility for leading the organisation's integrated approach to Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental management and Sustainability initiatives across rail replacement operations.
The role offers an attractive package including a competitive salary of £55,000, with all business travel and accommodation fully subsidized. Working primarily from home, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while maintaining weekly face-to-face contact with our regional operations teams across the UK.
QHSE Manager Responsibilities:
* This position provides assurance and drives excellence in safety performance, quality delivery, environmental protection, and sustainable practices through the continued development and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 management systems.
* The role drives continuous improvement, through an assurance program and promotes a just and fair culture, through visible felt leadership, across the rail replacement business, its supply chain and customer base.
* Quality Management (ISO 9001) - The role supports operational excellence through quality management
* Environmental Management (ISO 14001)
* Sustainability Leadership - The position drives organisational sustainability
* Integrated Systems Management - Oversees the integration of management systems
* Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001) - The position holds primary responsibility for occupational health and safety
QHSE Manager Skills and Experience:
* IOSH Chartered Membership or evidence of working towards
* CQI Chartered Membership or evidence of working towards
* IEMA Associate Membership, ideally Practitioner, working towards chartered.
* ISO 9001,14001, 45001 Lead auditor & equivalent experience in managing accredited management systems
* Experienced accident/incident investigator
* Valid UK driving license
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
* Coaching experience to integrate QSHE principles into operational roles
