About us:
We are a growing, successful and oversubscribed school, striving for Outstanding.
Health and Social Care is part of the Science department, which is a well-established, collaborative department. An array of subject specific CPD is offered to our department to build our subject knowledge. Many extra-curricular opportunities are provided for our pupils to build a love and passion for our subject, and the Health and Social Care team organise frequent trips and visits relevant to the course.
We recently become an all-through school, the first in Cambridgeshire, and have pupils from age 4 – 18. The addition of our primary phase, over the coming years, will also provide lots of additional opportunities for staff to work in the primary phase as well as the secondary and Post-16. It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell.
About the role:
You will teach through Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering the Cambridge National and Cambridge Technical Health and Social Care awards. Health and Social Care numbers are growing across the College, so this post is to support the team already delivering the course to bring in further expertise.
Both full-time and part-time will be considered for this role.
Cromwell Community College offers the chance to join a strong and experienced team and for you to develop your skills and enhance your career development through a wealth of CPD opportunities which is a particular strength of the Trust.
This role is due to begin in September 2025.
The ideal candidate:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and well-qualified teacher who will be committed to ensuring the highest levels of achievement for our pupils at Cromwell Community College.
If you are enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate about Health and Social Care and recognise its importance in education and will strive to provide excellent results in our already successful department, we would like to hear from you.
Why Join Us?
