A bit about the role We're seeking an Administration Officer to join our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Service, working closely with a dedicated team of four therapists. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our therapy programme and providing vital support to both our therapists and the families we serve. Key responsibilities include conducting tamar calls with families to gather feedback on the therapists and the therapy provided. These calls must be completed within a specific timeframe and follow a strict questionnaire/script. The information collected will be crucial for evaluating improving our service, so attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. In addition to managing feedback calls, the administration officer will handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining files, and ordering supplies for the therapists and families. This role is vital in facilitating an efficient working environment for our therapists, allowing them to focus on delivering high quality care. About the service Action for Children has been a longstanding provider of MST services and in this instance, you will be working within the Manchester MST service. Multi systemic therapy is a time limited (3-5 months) Intensive home and community-based model that targets the proven systemic cause of anti-social behaviour with adolescence. The therapy is delivered through direct work with the youth’s primary caregivers, schools and communities to create sustainable change. How you'll help to create brighter futures We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide timely, efficient, and effective administrative support across our service. You'll significantly improve young people's lives: By providing a range of administrative and front of house services utilising organisational policies, procedures and systems. By providing written and verbal correspondence in collaboration with management and operational colleagues, ensuring quick, polite and appropriate responses. Processing and managing orders, typing supervisory notes and formatting and inputting of information and data, which is consistent with organisational and regulatory guidelines. By maintaining and supporting the development of management information systems enabling the extraction, tracking and presentation of accurate data. Responsible for the quality of data inputted and contribute to continuous improvement strategies. By utilising Action for Children's and other organisations operating frameworks and systems to input and source information. To prepare reports, as directed by management or colleagues. Let's talk about you. An SVQ Level 2 in Administration OR 2 years Administration experience in an office environment. Compassionate and understanding with the ability to communicate across cultures. Good communication skills are essential for this role. Experience of working independently to plan and manage your own workload to meet organisational deadlines. Organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload. Responsible for document and travel management. You will be able to confidently minute take for meetings. A high understanding of Microsoft package specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. Highly organised and adaptable.
