Supporting individuals across the country, they offer a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.
They are now looking for an Adult Day Activities Assistant to join them on a part-time, permanent basis, working Saturdays, 17:00-21:30, across Week 1-2 and Saturdays, 10:30-17:30, across Week 3-4.

The Role
As an Adult Day Activities Assistant, you will create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for adults with physical, neurological, and learning disabilities.
Based in our client’s welcoming adult centre, your role will focus on helping individuals enjoy engaging activities, build meaningful relationships, and experience life-enhancing opportunities in a safe and friendly setting.
Working closely with adults of all ages, you will support their health and wellbeing and tailor activities to suit individual interests and goals, while encouraging participation and personal growth.
Additionally, you will:
1. Deliver personal care and assist with therapy-led activities
2. Administer medication where needed and maintain accurate records
3. Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.
About You
To be considered as an Adult Day Activities Assistant, you will need:
1. The ability to empathise and respond appropriately even in challenging situations
2. Excellent interpersonal skills
3. A good level of IT literacy
Experience working with disabled adults/young people or children is desirable but not essential, as is a full driving licence with D1 entitlement.
A recognised professional qualification such as an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent would be equally advantageous.
