Who we are seeking We are now recruiting for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Sunseeker family in Poole. As the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure all products manufactured by our suppliers meet and exceed the quality expectations whilst maintaining the manufacturing alignment with our stringent internal build standards. This role requires some travel to Mainland Europe for supplier meetings and investigations. As quality is of paramount importance, you will be expected to ensure that all products meet or exceed the customers expectations of the Global brand. You will play an active role in a cross functional team environment, mainly as a shared resource to support procurement, quality and design on all aspects of supplier quality. You will assist Procurement and Production planning to maintain the suppliers dynamic order book and delivery performance via OTIF metrics. Example responsibilities include Performing regular on-site supplier visits to monitor supplier performance in order to feedback to the business Ability to perform Root cause analysis, subsequently followed by robust corrective actions and permanent verification activities all reported to supplier non-conformities Reviewing supplier data and manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities Supporting and leading continuous improvement activities at the supplier in order to reduce waste and decrease cycle times of products Assisting SDE in undertaking supplier evaluations and product audits to ensure internal compliance with quality systems, manufacturing process and any new emerging technologies/capabilities Assisting in new product launches to ensure that supplier parts meet specification, drawing and quality standards Promoting the use of internal preferred techniques for continuous improvement To be considered you'll need Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree, or ONC, A Level, BTEC Diploma, Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3 Experience working within a dynamic manufacturing environment Experience in Quality & Supplier Quality Assurance A good understanding and interpretation of mechanical engineering drawings and GRP construction drawings Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques (LSS Yellow/Green belt would be beneficial) Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance Why join the Sunseeker family?
