The Governing Body of Temple Meadow Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible School Administrator to work in within our office team. Here at Temple Meadow, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive; our children are so rewarding to work with. They are full of fun, enjoyment and have a thirst for knowledge. Our school is a place of curiosity, creativity, and learning, where we strive to inspire each child to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. We are looking for someone to join our talented and caring team, who will work tirelessly to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that fosters a love for learning. We believe that education is a partnership between school and home, and we value the strong relationships we build with our families. This role will be pivotal to this as you will be supporting our children and families as the initial contact in our busy school office. Together, we ensure that every child not only achieves excellence, but also grows into a kind, confident, and responsible individual. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, organisational and prioritisation skills and with a high level of oral and written communication skills. The role includes dealing with telephone enquiries, greeting visitors into school and the daily administration of school attendance. You will be a skilled administrator, preferably with experience of working in a busy school office and have a good knowledge of both Word and Excel. Applications can be submitted to the school office, either in person or via email to tm.adminmeadow.sandwell.sch.uk. Application packs can be downloaded from Public Sector Jobs | WMJobs, as well as the school website. Temple Meadow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups including children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS clearance is therefore required for this role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post.
