Job Title: Trainee Gas Engineer/Single Fuel Engineer - Gas - Upskill to Dual Fuel Engineer
Training: 4 weeks in total - paid and all expenses paid for

JOB OVERVIEW
As an Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to the clients you engage with daily. You will focus on the continuous development of your technical and personal skills to achieve optimal performance. You will be a skilled communicator, capable of advising customers on the benefits of smart meters in a clear and coherent manner. Additionally, you will be confident in mentoring junior engineering colleagues on best practice technical excellence standards following their formal training. You will adopt a proactive approach and always seek new and efficient ways to improve safety and efficiency in your role. Flexibility is required to cover emergencies and assist teammates with challenging jobs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Installation and maintenance of meters.
2. Other related duties as required by the metering department.
3. Carry out communication testing for metering and loggers.
4. Interaction and liaison with the delivery support team.
5. Maintain safety standards and follow established working procedures.
6. Control and manage stock.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / MEMBERSHIPS
1. Proof of Gas Competence/Qualifications. (level 2 min)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1. Proactive approach to pre-visit customer communication.
2. Strong technical skills to deliver exceptional First Fit levels.
3. Proof of Gas Competence.
4. Understanding of industry governance and compliance.
5. A current, full UK driving licence.
