Main duties of the job
As Healthy Child Practice Manager, you will:
* be at the forefront of managing change, driving performance and continuous improvement whilst leading high-quality services and effective ways of working
* lead the teams in their planning and reviewing of service delivery to ensure that this is of high quality to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families
* directly manage and lead staff, alongside resources and projects which focus on the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of children and their families, from pregnancy to 5 years through the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and the Children’s Centre Statutory Framework
* engage and enable community led activity through the Health and Children’s Centres, developing resilient communities which rely less on public services.

The team
Suffolk's Health (0-19) and Children’s Centres provide services for both prospective and existing parents/carers, children, and young people, focusing on the earliest point of intervention to enable the best outcomes for children. Supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child programme, a prevention and early intervention public health programme that lies at the heart of the universal service for children and families and aims to improve health outcomes and ensure those at risk are identified at the earliest opportunity.

Qualifications
Essential
* Current Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse/ Midwife
* Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - Health Visiting
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Willingness to undertake further professional training and attend training courses
* Management and Leadership qualification or relevant experience
