How can you unearth the possibilities with Nufarm?
Responsible for the loading/offloading of bulk hazardous materials within an upper tier COMAH site. Works with Operations and Logistics personnel to ensure safe and efficient transfer of chemicals between bulk tankers and chemical holding tanks. Working as part of a team, the Bulk Tanker Operative should be responsive and focused. The role necessitates working a 4 days on/4 days off rolling 12hr shift pattern.
What’s possible?
1. Ensuring Nufarm Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to at all times.
2. Safely following defined process controls for the loading/unloading of various hazardous materials.
3. Following a pre-defined bulk tanker scheduling system to ensure Plants and Processes can run without interruptions.
4. Monitoring and sampling of chemical holding tank abatement systems.
5. Communicating across a wide range of people – Production Team; Logistics Team; Supply Chain Team; External and Internal Bulk Tanker Drivers.
6. Reporting of all hazards and identification of any procedural improvements.
7. Shunting of internal barrels in-line with various Plant processing requirements.
What do you bring?
Background in chemical industry preferred. GCSE Maths and English. Able to follow defined processes. Enjoys working within a team. Physically fit.
