Main duties of the job

LineManagement & Staff Oversight
Line manage all directly employed ARRS staff ,ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery and compliance with nationaland local targets.
Monitor staff performance against KPIs andperformance metrics, ensuring staff are meeting targets and identifying areasfor improvement.
Provide ongoing support and guidance tostaff, including addressing HR issues and maintaining a positive workingenvironment.
Oversee recruitment and retention efforts ,ensuring staffing levels meet the networks needs and skill mix requirements.
Ensure staff induction, training, and development arein place to support staff in performing their roles effectively.
Oversee the performance and development ofthe administrative and clinical teams, ensuring appropriate skills and supportare provided.
Manage HRprocesses, including pre-employment checks, sickness recording,appraisals, and training.
Provide reports and feedback to the ClinicalDirector (CD) and senior leadership team on staff output, performance, andtarget attainment.
Project& Operational Management
Support the COO and Clinical Director indelivering the strategic objectives of the PCN, ensuring the efficient andeffective implementation of service changes, pathways, and local improvementprogrammes.
Leadthe day-to-day operations of the PCN ,ensuring smooth coordination between practices and timely delivery of PCNpriorities.
Organiseand manage PCN meetings ,working with the PCN administrator toset agendas, minute-take, and track action items.
Coordinate the implementation of new projects andinitiatives, ensuring alignment with national and local priorities.
Monitor and evaluate project performance ,ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering on agreed outcomes.

Digital& Data Management
Support the adoption of new technologies andinitiatives to improve patient access, experience, and network productivity.
Enhance digital maturity across the network,including the integration and use of new clinical systems and tools to improveoperational efficiency.
Utilise data to support decision-making ,driving improvements in patient care, operational efficiency, and staffexperience.
Support population health management initiatives through data analysis, driving improvements in care quality andaccess to services.
Ensure alignment of digital transformation initiatives with ICB and national strategies, working closely with the widerhealthcare system to improve service delivery.
FinancialManagement & Compliance
Monitor and track staff pay and reimbursements ,ensuring compliance with network financial policies.
Ensure ARRSsubmissions and data entry are accurate and timely.
Oversee procurement of equipment and supplies ,ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance with the networks operational needs.
Maintain compliance with all NHS, CQC, andcontractual obligations related to finance, HR, and service delivery.
EventCoordination & Administrative Support
Coordinate events and meetings aligned withthe PCNs priorities, ensuring smooth logistics and participant engagement.
Assist with support for events, ensuringtechnology is set up and operational, troubleshooting as required.
Maintain and update the networks documentation andelectronic storage systems, including SharePoint and Teams.
Oversee stock control and ordering forthe network, ensuring supplies are managed efficiently and accurately recorded.
Coordinate communications for the network, includingmaintaining updates to the website and social media platforms.
Assist the Clinical Director and COO with complex administrative tasks, ensuring alignment with the PCNsobjectives.

Experience
Essential
1. Strong team leadership experience in a healthcare environment, with a proven track record of managing large teams effectively.
2. Experience using EMIS or similar clinical systems, with the ability to manage and optimise their use for network-wide benefits.
3. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and deliver projects on time.
4. Proven ability to manage performance and drive improvements, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
5. Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leaders.
6. Understanding of NHS and PCN operational requirements, including compliance with NHS, CQC, and other relevant regulations.
