SEMH TA Support

We are recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants to work in alternative education and specialist settings, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30, with the potential for permanent opportunities.
The Role:
1. Supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies.
2. Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment.
3. Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management.
4. Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges (this could be in education, youth work, care, or similar roles).
2. A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A genuine passion for supporting young people.
