Job Introduction
The Procurement team is repositioning itself to become a strategic enabler for BBC. Procurement Enablement will form a key part in this transformation, delivering enablers for Procurement and its stakeholders.
The Procurement Enablement Manager for data, analytics and insights will play a key part in this, delivering reliable data analytics with insights allowing procurement to deliver on cost optimisation targets.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a data strategy that focuses on producing actionable insights to drive decisions and actions.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of insights, ensuring they drive meaningful actions and align with organisational goals.
* Support TCS with the delivery of standard reports ensuring continuous improvement, data accuracy and reliable delivery.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to scope out requirements and implement changes to meet business needs.
* Design and deliver advanced analytics that drive process improvements and an effective control environment.
* Manage and develop the data & analytics apprentice, fostering a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
* Evaluate and implement data and analytics technologies to enhance capabilities and support the production of actionable insights.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data management and analytics practices.
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiencies and drive standardisation.
Are you the right candidate?
* Proven experience in leading Procurement data & analytics projects that aligns with business goals & drive decision making.
* Experience in presenting and preparing insights to senior stakeholders.
* Ability to define and implement data strategies, governance frameworks and analytical roadmaps.
* Strong background in managing large-scale data environments.
* Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools, proving real time data analysis.
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for nontechnical stakeholders.
* Experience in designing data pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Experience in supporting a Procurement function with market intelligence research to deliver commercial benefits.
* Demonstrated ability to understand the benefits of AI & Data mining to advance processes and improve controls.
* Track record of staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in data and analytics.
