Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Clinical Administrator and Stock Controller who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team in Oxford. In this position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of amputees. From managing appointments to providing clear communication to our patients, your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a difference. The role will involve booking patient appointments, communicating clearly with patients, and helping to manage their queries, as well as helping to manage stock levels and booking prosthetic products in/out, in-line with our stock-control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing prosthetic orders, forwarding orders for Central Purchasing, raising orders.
* Processing orthotic orders into the on-site workshop and ensuring they are delivered to the NHS within the required lead times.
* Liaising with Prosthetists, Technicians, Central Purchasing, Ortho-Europe and other company staff.
* Booking deliveries in/out, processing purchase orders and dealing with system issues.
* Weekly stock takes and stock checks.
* Recording patient orders, raising them on the system and passing to clinical staff.
* Organising and maintaining patient files.
* Organising the team’s diary and updating where necessary.
* Monitoring patient transport and dealing with queries.
* Rescheduling, amending and correcting appointments on both Opcare and NHS electronic systems, directing patients and assisting with follow-up appointments.
Qualifications:
* Experience in an admin role is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of basic Excel and Word packages.
* Experience in the healthcare industry is desirable.
* GCSE English and Maths.

* Able to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
* Good team player and willing to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent telephone manner and people skills.
* Computer literate and have a good understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Ability to utilise equipment to move boxes.
