Contract term: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 37 hours over 5 days
Location: Hybrid (3/2 split)
Salary: Grade 4 £24,358 rising to £26,903 per annum

What you’ll do:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to support our Marketing Team in delivering engaging visual content that aligns with ACT’s brand and business objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll produce innovative designs for digital platforms, social media, and print materials. Using Adobe Creative Cloud, you’ll create dynamic content, including social media assets, infographics, videos, and branded materials. You’ll also support videography and photography projects to enhance our marketing campaigns.

This role is hybrid, with three days per week based at our head office and two days working from home.
ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
What we need from you:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an in-house /agency graphic designer
• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• A link to your most recent work (at application stage)
• Video editing experience
• A strong portfolio of graphic design work
• Excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro
• Experience of creating HTML emails
• Experience of creating print ready artwork and liaising with external printers/suppliers
• Self-organised and motivated
• Someone who displays initiative
• Able to commute to Head office in Cardiff and to any other ACT centre, as and when required
