Job Description
Salary: Up to £25,000 DoE
Location: Warrington
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours)
Role: 12 month maternity cover
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and co-ordinate Field Engineering activities on a daily basis ensuring that both internal and external client expectations are met. Activities include but are not restricted to;
2. Assist with resource planning for field communications engineers
3. Cover any scheduling leave
4. Monitor and update Subcontractor Clear information
5. Assist other team members with their clears during periods of high demand
6. Assist other team members with their queues during periods of high demand
7. Monitor the resourcing inbox and action any queries
8. Project work – planning multi-site/multi-region projects and booking appropriate installs
9. Commit to the principles and practice of continuous professional development and undertake additional training to meet individual and organisational needs.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; effective communicator across all levels of the organisation
2. Good analytical and negotiating skills
3. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with limited guidance
4. Computer literate, particularly in Excel, Word, data entry into databases, and basic internet and email usage.
5. An awareness of Telecommunications is desirable; however, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
6. Previous experience in Engineering Scheduling is desirable.
