Job Title: Digital Operations and Content Editor
Location: Peterborough/Hybrid model: Home working, combined with attending the Head Office in Peterborough as needed (Up to 1-2 days per week).
Salary Range: £31,500 - £38,500
This role involves collaborating with operations and strategic product and service teams, UX Designers, Customer Journey, Interactive designers, Marketing and communications and other team members to ensure content aligns with the company’s goals for all aspects of CITB. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of digital experience and web platforms
Content Creation and Management:
Support the review and development of content across all pages and templates based on best practice. Advising all stakeholders of the best approach to deliver first class leading content. (High quality digital content, including articles, blog posts, videos, product, and services)
Collaborate with the writers, designers, and other content creators to ensure content is engaging and on-brand.
Support the organisation and stakeholders to ensure the lifecycle of all content is maintained for all content libraries and archives. This will include UX based content. Where applicable ensure BAU content is diarised for reviews with non-operational stakeholders.
Use content management systems (CMS) to upload and manage digital content for all stakeholders
Quality Assurance:
Support, review, and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices and is optimised for internal and external search engines.
Conduct regular audits of existing content to ensure it remains relevant and up to date.
Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools.
Make data-driven recommendations to improve content strategy and performance, based on voice of the customer, content relevance, ranking and feedback.
Project Management:
Coordinate with various departments to manage content projects from conception to completion.
Track and report on content performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
Manage content workflows and ensure all deadlines are met.
Content Strategy:
Supporting the Content Operations Designer to ensure all content is reviewed to meet the customer needs and respond to insights, feedback, and data reviews to ensure all content is of the highest standards.
Assist in developing and implementing content strategies that align with business goals.
Stay up-to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for content repurposing and syndication.
Technical Skills:
Utilise content management systems (CMS) to publish and manage digital content.
Work with analytics tools to monitor content performance and user engagement.
Ensure all content is mobile-friendly and accessible.
