Housing Lawyer
Local Authority in Yorkshire
Locum Contract
Hybrid
A well-established local authority in the Yorkshire region is seeking a Housing Lawyer to join them on a locum basis from mid-February. The contract will be for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential to extend further.
The successful Housing Lawyer will be leading on all housing matters, so you must have significant experience in housing law and have prior experience working in a council, housing association or other public sector body.
The caseload will include complex and routine cases involving:
1. Disrepair
2. Possession
3. Antisocial behaviour
To be considered for this role, you must possess advocacy rights in Magistrates and County Court and be able to work on a hybrid basis, attending court around once a week.
This is a full-time role and there is generous flexi-time on offer, with the option to work your hours flexibly between 7am and 7pm.
Our client would ideally like the locum Housing Lawyer to start from 10th February, so we encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting.
Should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying, please contact Chloë Cameron in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
