Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Global Process Director
This role will preferably be based at GSK HQ or Poznan, Poland but can be based at other global locations on a case-by-case basis.
A truly exciting opportunity as the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Global Process Director, you will report to the Head of E2E Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (“Head E2E CoE”) and will be a member of their leadership team.
The role will be an integral part of the E2E CoE, which will serve as a hub of expertise, knowledge, and innovation, providing guidance, thought leadership, and support to the broader supply chain organisation and wider business.
The principal responsibilities of the role holder will be to drive the vision, strategy and maintenance of the Supply Chain IBP process, as well as also drive performance management and consistency across the teams within the Supply Chain organisation, i.e :
1. The role will have transversal responsibility to coordinate the shaping of the IBP process (which is an enterprise process across Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance), working in partnership with Supply Chain Functional Leads, the E2E CoE Global Process Directors and Functional Global Process teams on how sub-processes connect in the IBP process. This to help maximise operational effectiveness and business value, collectively evaluate solutions and enablers including impacts on people, systems (including data), policies and procedures globally.
2. Defines the vision and the roadmap for the IBP in partnership with the business on moving GSK from the current state to the desired future state that is congruent to the goals set by the Functional Heads for the Supply Chain Management process.
3. To drive business benefit, continuous improvement and ease of use of the process for the end user with focus on process, system, data and capability.
4. Define and refine the solution for the i.e., process, technology, data and capability requirements.
5. Manage prioritisation and support process performance and improvements delivery.
6. Embed and grow organisational capability within the process.
7. Optimise extraction of solution value for the process e.g. by monitoring operational efficiency and effectiveness KPIs, process adherence etc.
8. To provide governance and guidance on maintenance of Supply Chain Functional and E2E processes.
9. Act as the Supply Chain single point of contact for Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestment activities in order to align with GSK’s Business Development team and to engage the appropriate E2E/Functional teams members to analyse and support execution of required solutions.
10. Lead Supply Chain CoE GPO performance management activities in alignment with GSK enterprise governance and Supply Chain forums.
Role Dimensions:
* Reports to Head of E2E Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, within the E2E Supply Chain CoE organisation
* 1 Direct report and other project related resources (that will vary over time)
* Operates globally
* Cross-enterprise working with a network of IBP champions
* Stakeholder interface in GSK will span all layers of the organisation up to SVP level, with a highly complex network

Required qualifications and skills:
* Possess solid experience of processes and ERP functionality (e.g. S4 Hana, SAC, OMP, AI and other relevant digital solutions), principally within the IBP process and integration points with other end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes.
* Transversal experience across Supply Planning, Demand Planning, S&OP & Commercial Planning in a regulated industry.
* Subject matter expertise with good knowledge of process design, lean sigma and other process improvement approaches.
* Proven experience in process design, simplification, standardisation, improvement and roll-out across a global organisation.
* Experience of leading multi-functional teams within a matrix environment.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and work flexibly across a global organisation.
Preferred qualifications and skills:
* Large scale business transformation experience preferred.
* Financial or commercial experience.
* Strong change leadership experience.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
* Be able to advocate and influence at senior levels (i.e. Director level and above).
* Be able to network effectively both internally and externally.
