Responsibilities
1. Answer multi-line telephone system, screen and direct calls in accordance with Highgate Standards.
2. Take and relay messages.
3. Greet persons entering the organization.
4. Direct guests to the correct destination.
5. Provide general administrative and clerical support.
6. Typing, filing, faxing.
7. Notify proper personnel of overnight deliveries.
8. Maintain conference room calendars.
9. Maintain company extension list.
10. Tidy and maintain reception area and conference rooms.
11. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Qualifications
1. High School diploma.
2. Receptionist, Administrative, and/or HR experience is a plus.
3. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
4. Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
5. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
6. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous manner.
7. Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
8. Detail-oriented.
9. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
10. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
11. Must be able to show initiative.
12. Perform other duties as requested by management.
