Protocol Education are proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Enfield.
The Head of School is currently looking to onboard an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team of staff on a Temp to Perm basis. The school has been rated "GOOD" by ofsted and has had really good feedback on Student behaviour and achievement across the school.
An ideal candidate will be expected to have previous experience in teaching primary phase ciriculum and should have knowledge in order to be able to deliver lesson.
As a Primary Teacher you need:
1. knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
2. sensitivity and understanding
3. the ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things
4. the ability to work well with others
5. to be flexible and open to change
6. knowledge of English language
7. patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
8. excellent verbal communication skills
9. to be able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
As a Primary Teacher you will:
10. prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays
11. plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students
12. mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
13. manage the work of teaching assistants
14. follow safeguarding procedures and work with education psychologists and social workers
15. organise trips, after school clubs and sports events
16. work and attend meetings and training outside of usual working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
