Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a large regional, Legal 500 ranked firm in Leeds who are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide legal advice on corporate matters like mergers, acquisitions, and governance.
Draft and review corporate agreements and contracts.
Ensure corporate compliance with laws and regulations.
Conduct due diligence on transactions and assess legal risks.
Represent clients in corporate disputes and offer solutions.
Assist with corporate restructuring and fundraising efforts.
Stay updated on corporate law trends and changes.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development.
Collaborate with other teams for cross-functional legal support.
The successful candidate:
4 + years PQE with strong experience in corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Expertise in drafting and reviewing corporate agreements and contracts.
In-depth knowledge of corporate compliance and regulatory requirements.
Experience in conducting due diligence for transactions.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage corporate disputes and provide strategic solutions.
Familiarity with corporate restructuring and fundraising processes.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
