An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Main Outpatient department team at Maidstone Hospital. We are looking for a clinical support worker with the desire to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting as a valued team member. This post is to cover maternity leave.
The main duties will include:
* Chaperoning doctors and patients during clinic times.
* Setting up clinics and preparing medical notes.
* Communicating with patients and other departments.
* Providing direct care and support to outpatient patients as delegated by the qualified nurse.
* Maintaining a clean safe environment for patients and relatives.
* Assisting with clerical and housekeeping duties.
* Contributing to maintaining the unit's philosophy of care.
* Working in a learning environment, providing a high standard of nursing care and support.
* Working flexibly according to the needs of the department and supporting outpatient services and clinical areas across the site where required.
