Working: The role is office/hybrid based with occasional travel to other company/customer's sites in the UK or abroad.
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team, focusing on PCB manufacturing. We specialise in designing, manufacturing, and supplying novel power-dense, high-integrity electronics. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team working on complex Agile Projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electronic circuits.
2. Analyse electronic circuits.
3. Generate requirements for electronic systems.
4. Capture schematics and designs.
5. Provide PCB layout advice and review.
6. Select and review components.
7. Take on varied engineering tasks to support projects and programs.
8. Participate in internal and external meetings.
9. Interface with customers on technical and project issues.
10. Document your work in line with local operating procedures.
11. Take an active role in Continuous Improvement.
Experience needed:
1. Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
2. Team player with strong collaboration skills.
3. Quick learner with a flexible and adaptable approach.
4. Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
5. Basic knowledge of analogue and digital design.
6. Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
7. Circuit simulation experience.
8. Wiring definition experience.
9. Understanding of PCB layout supervision.
Desirable:
1. Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous.
2. Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
