They partner with artisans and suppliers, primarily in Kenya and India, to create contemporary and stylish clothing collections for women and men using natural, organic and sustainable materials.
Job Overview:
This role focuses on expanding distribution through various channels, including wholesale, third-party retailers, travel retail locations (such as airports, resorts, and ports), and independent boutiques within the UK and US markets.
The position involves developing and implementing a comprehensive partnership strategy, targeting key consumer travel hubs and retail environments. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with major retail accounts, regional department stores, online marketplaces, and travel retail operators.
You will also collaborate with logistics providers to ensure efficient domestic and international shipping, manage product and stock coordination, develop sales and marketing tools, and represent the company at industry events.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in partnership development and management within the retail sector, ideally within women's apparel or a similar industry.
A strong understanding of travel retail dynamics and experience working with major retailers and independent boutiques is highly desirable.
Key skills include excellent selling abilities, proficiency in logistics management, strong analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach. Experience with Excel and other relevant business systems is also required.
