Let us introduce the role This role will have overall accountability for the provision of Corporate Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience to the Enterprise to ensure that sites are safe to operate. Provision of Governance and Management oversight for the associated Emergency Arrangements and associated Licence Conditions and Defence Security Conditions. Ensuring effective Strategic management and direction setting for the Enterprise. Ensuring continuous improvement and visibility at Exec Director and board level. Some of the Key Responsibilities Overall accountability for the provision of Corporate Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience to the Enterprise to ensure that sites are safe to operate. Provision of Governance and Management oversight for the associated Emergency Arrangements and associated Licence Conditions and Defence Security Conditions. Ensuring effective Strategic management and direction setting for the Enterprise. Ensuring continuous improvement and visibility at Exec Director and board level. Oversight and Governance for Licence and Authorising Conditions 9, 11 and Defence Security Condition 9, responsible for providing direction and management of the arrangements and ensuring delivery; feeding back to the owning Director on performance and areas of risk. Translates strategy into operational reality, allocating resources to meet demand. Promote and sponsor operational excellence and drive all actions aimed at continuous process improvement. Provide a diverse and inclusive working environment that allows individuals to flourish and realise their potential. Works effectively with others and build/maintain required relationships and interfaces that support delivery of the Programme. Responsible for regulatory and legislative compliance associated with Emergency response and site safety justifications. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: Degree in scientific, engineering or business discipline; equivalent NVQ level 6 qualification in relevant subject; or relevant equivalent experience. Extensive Experience working in an Emergency response environment. Understanding of the AWE Programme, its deliverables, drivers and barriers. Understanding of relevant Company Processes. Proven track record of driving delivery, performance and continuous improvement in a complex operational environment. Successfully leading, motivating and managing cross functional teams. Change Management. Stakeholder management at all levels.
